Bond 24 to shoot in Ireland after producer raves about ‘gorgeous’ country?

The next James Bond film could be shot in Ireland after one of the film’s producers said the country was ‘gorgeous’.

Barbara Broccoli was speaking at an event hosted by the Institute of Directors to support the Irish film industry.

She revealed that she was working with Once director John Carney on another film, which will be shot in Ireland.

‘I hope we will come here to film whether it is a Bond or another story,’ she told the press.

Broccoli added if John Logan’s script takes them there ‘we’ll come here. Ireland is gorgeous. I’d love to come here and make a Bond film.’

Logan, who also attended the event over the weekend, pointed out that as his parents both come from Belfast, he was second-generation Irish.

He said: ‘I’m fully Irish.’

Bond 24, starring Daniel Craig, is due out in 2015.
