Sunday Best Winner, Y’Anna Crawley and her family are in need of your prayers and support. On Wednesday, March 6 around 4:30pm a tree came crashing into the home of Y’Anna’s parents. Wednesday’s snowstorm mixed with high winds was the cause of this. The tree fell into the kitchen and an upstairs bathroom and kitchen. Because Deborah Jeter was cooking in the kitchen at the time of the crash a small fire did start but it was put out quickly after the arrival of the firefighters. At the time of the tree crashing into the home 5 of the 7 people that live in the house were home but all were able to get out unharmed. After the county inspector inspected the house it was deemed unsafe and was condemned. The Jeter family has lived in this house for 21 years but are now temporarily displaced.

Y’Anna’s non-profit organization, The Promise Foundation has made a significant contribution and is helping to the best of its ability. 4 Adults and 3 children were forced to leave their home and are staying with family and friends. They are in need of some basic essentials. Your donation will be used to help the family obtain some of their basic every day needs. We are asking that your donations be in the form of a gift card so that the family can properly allocate the use to the need of each family member.
