Nine year music industry executive Jason Hardy, CEO/Founder of the J. Hardy Agency, is featured in this month’s issue of Root Magazine. Hardy is included on the magazine’s “Ones To Watch” list for the J. Hardy Agency’s strategic, innovative and effective services provided to clients. Being on this list is an honor for Hardy, as some of the top names in the Gospel Music industry, such as Charles Jenkins, Earnest Pugh, James Fortune and Myron Butler, are also included. During the 28th Annual Stellar Awards Weekend in Nashville last month the 1st Annual Saving Our Youth Celebrity Basketball Game Commemorative Magazine named Hardy a “Rising Mover and Shaker”. Some of gospel’s most noted industry professionals such as Romel Murphy, Zantino Kimmons, Gerald Jones and Chaka Buraimoh were also mentioned.
“I started The J. Hardy Agency in 2007 after working with gospel label Axiom Records for three years prior and my main goal was to provide excellent service to those who need it. I’m very ecstatic about being on Root Magazine’s “Ones To Watch” List and being mentioned as a “Rising Mover & Shaker” because to me it means I set a goal and reached it,” says Hardy.
The past few years have been a whirlwind of success for Hardy, as his company, The J. Hardy Agency, one of the leading gospel/faith-based PR, Marketing and Special Event boutiques was responsible for key placements of its clients on notable promotion platforms.
Last year, some of the agency’s independent artists were featured on the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, Sister 2 Sister Magazine, Yahoo! Music, Rollingout.com and many more prestigious media outlets. Hardy was also selected by Black Entertainment Television (BET) as a 2012 BET Awards Voting Academy member.
Hardy has contributed to the successful PR, Marketing and Special Event campaigns for Grammy Award-winning Recording Artist Marvin Sapp and Regina Belle, Stellar Award-winning Gospel Recording Artist Isaac Carree, The Sovereign Agency, Sony Music Entertainment, I Hear Music In the Air Conference, Hezekiah Walker’s ChoirFest, the critical and consumer hit touring stage-play production What Shall I Do, where Hardy was credited as an Associate Producer to name a few.
