bj-putnam-moreandmoreWorship Leader, Singer/Songwriter BJ Putnam releases More and More Live on March 12, 2013 in partnership with eOne Worship. Putnam will perform music from the new CD as a special guest with longtime friend and mentor Israel Houghton on his spring tour.

“My mission and my goal with this album is to help people everywhere experience God’s presence,” said Putnam, lead worship pastor for the mega-church, multi-campus Church for the Nations in Phoenix. “I know if I can get people in his presence, they’ll change because that’s what happens when you experience God. Lives change.”

“Having known BJ from the inception of his career, I am delighted and amazed to see this project come to light,” said Houghton. “Since he also is one of my favorite worship leaders and song writers I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of the production team for this recording. It’s powerful. The more you hear it, the more you will want to listen.”

Much of the 12-track album was penned with Putnam’s longtime collaborator Doug Engquist, and he also co-wrote with other well-known writers such as Jenny Lee Riddle.

“Lyrically we wanted every song to be something,” explained Putnam. “We wanted to point people to God.”

Twitter.com/eOneWorship album includes many standout songs such as the album opener “Dance,” a vibrant worship anthem with a potent lyric and a commanding groove, “Beautiful,” which is about how Jesus carried the cross and carries us, and “Here for You,” which showcases Putnam’s passionate, soulful voice and features lyrics that are very close to the young worship leader’s heart. It was birthed from a worship service where he overwhelmingly felt the presence of God.

“I’ll never forget that sound,” said Putnam. “I’ll never forget how awesome it is to hear God’s people corporately worshipping him and hear heaven touching Earth at the same time.”

This coming spring, Putnam joins Houghton on tour as a special guest making stops at churches and venues across the country. Stay tuned to facebook.com/eOneWorship and Twitter.com/eOneWorship for upcoming tour dates and cities.
