PRAISE: The Feet Of Jesus

The feet of JesusNot many things move me to tears, other than the love of Jesus.

But this here, nearly took me clean out yesterday. Had Bible Study at the Assisted Living Home for the more “mature” saints last night.

As we were reading the book of John, chapter 21..which you know speaks to Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Galilee.

Well, after we read the chapter, one of the women said…ever so sweetly: If I were alive in that era, I would tell Jesus that I love Him…I would kiss His feet.

Her statement was so profound. It humbled me in my spirit. oh just to be at the feet of Jesus.

Man…I was nearly down for the count. Can you imagine, having the opportunity to kneel at the feet of Jesus? The opportunity to tell our beautiful Saviour that we love Him, face to face? Oh how I want to sit at the feet of Jesus. Oh how I love Him! Oh how I magnify Him! Can you imagine the sweet smell of our beautiful Saviour? Ohhhhh sweet Jesus!

The feet of Jesus! The feet that carried Him from town to town. The feet that walked on water. The feet that took a nail for my sins!!!

Oh my goodness! Beautiful Jesus! A few songs come to mind –
Oh, I want to see Him, look upon His face,
There to sing forever of His saving grace;
On the streets of glory let me lift my voice,
Cares all past, home at last, ever to rejoice.

Another song that comes to mind is: All I want to do is love You, all I want to do is worship, all I want to do is lay here at your feet….

Oh glory to the most High King!

Can you point out any scripture references that talk about the feet of Jesus? Post it in the comments below. Take a look at Luke chapter 7.
