EMI Gospel recording artist Tasha Cobbs’ (@tashacobbs) album, Grace, debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart, making her this week’s best-selling and highest debut gospel artist in the country. Cobbs’ Grace is also the highest debut by a new artist this year. Grace is produced by multiple award-winning recording artist VaShawn Mitchell.

Grace Deluxe Edition also landed at #1 on iTunes Gospel Albums chart and Amazon’s Gospel Albums chart even before the album’s release date. Cobbs’ new single, “Break Every Chain,” entered at #1 on Billboard’s Top Digital Gospel Song chart. The single has continued to be the #1 most added song at gospel radio since it first entered at #27 on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart. This week, “Break Every Chain” jumped six spots on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart.

Cobbs’ Break Every Chain Promotional Tour has included visits in Atlanta, GA; Dothan and Montgomery, AL; Lindenwold, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; and New York, NY. Cobbs will continue the tour with visits to Los Angeles, CA; Houston, TX; Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC; New Orleans, LA; Chicago, IL; and Jacksonville, FL.
